We pampered ourselves to four nights in a hotel in downtown Sydney after the hostel stay just north of Manly Beach. Granted, when I say a hotel, it was $100 a night which was the absolute cheapest in all of downtown, and it was not a roach infested dump!! We checked in and quickly dropped our bags and went back out the "red light" district of Darling Habor (chinatown). Feasting on gyros, we slept soundly that night and took advantage of sleeping in and started the next day with a quick dip in our rooftop pool.
